About the Hackathon πŸ’‘

During July, we want to see you build an open-source app using PlanetScale. Publish an article on your Hashnode blog about the process of creating and launching your app for a chance to win one of 15 cash prizes! This is an excellent opportunity to unlock your creativity with a great open-source project.

If this is your first time using PlanetScale, you'll soon see it's super easy to get started, and there is well-written documentation. You can also find tutorials written by James Q Quick, Camila Ramos, and more great authors.

How to Participate πŸ“„

  1. Sign up on PlanetScale's website,
  2. Build an open-source app using PlanetScale as the database,
  3. Attribute to PlanetScale and Hashnode from the Project's Readme and the footer of the project's website.
  4. Launch your app by publishing an article on your Hashnode blog - no blog yet? Set it up here,
  5. Tag your article with #PlanetScale and #PlanetScaleHackathon hashtags β€” this is how we know who's in, and finally
  6. Share your article on Twitter, LinkedIn, or Instagram - be sure to tag @planetscaledata and @hashnode so we can spread the love! ❀️
