Hashnode Christmas Hackathon!
Hello Folks!
2020 has been an unusual year for many. But it has also been different in many ways. One of the positive effects of 2020 is that we got to spend more time with family and had a chance to take a break, think and reflect.
Finally, holiday season is here. Many are choosing to stay home and celebrate with family responsibly. There are still 10 days until New Year's day. Why not make it count? Why not finish that side project or complete the cool CLI utility you have been thinking of building?
To motivate you and help you build something cool, Hashnode is doing an impromptu "10 days hackathon"!
How does it work?
Build something cool using your favorite language/tool/framework. It can be a small side project or a simple utility/tool to solve a specific problem!
Write about it on your Hashnode blog and tag it with "Christmas Hackathon" (#christmashackathon). If you don't have a Hashnode blog yet, set it up here.
Tweet to us with the link to your article.
Winners
On 2nd Jan 2021, we'll announce 5 interesting articles and reward each author with $500 Amazon Gift Card (or equivalent).
Let's make 2020 count and utilize the next 10 days building something cool and interesting!
We are looking forward to seeing what you end up building! π₯

Awesome, I am down for it.... just to get me a start in blogging.
But am curious to know the following:
The article says : "we'll announce 5 interesting articles, AND , reward each author with $500 Amazon Gift Card (or equivalent)."
Does this mean that the reward of $500 Amazon Gift Card (or equivalent) is only for the winners?
OR
Do all the writers(including all non-winners) will be rewarded with $500 Amazon Gift Card (or equivalent)?
Thanks for the ClarificationSandeep Panda Btw, thanks for Hashnode and i will blog anywys :p
